If you have a skill that is needed by a New Zealand accredited employer and are looking for a pathway to live in New Zealand, you can apply for this visa. You must be 55 years of age or under and have an offer of employment in New Zealand from an Accredited Employer with a minimum base salary of at least $79,560 per annum.
The objective of this type of visa is to allow accredited employers to supplement their own New Zealand workforce in their core area of business activity.
If you continue to work for the Accredited Employer for 2 years, you’ll be able to apply to live in New Zealand permanently. Partners and dependents cannot be included in the Talent (Accredited Employers) Work Visa application, but they can seek a visa based on your status and submit a separate relationship based visa application. Application lodged for a subsequent Talent (Accredited Employers) work visa may be approved based on meeting certain assessment criteria.
