Are you from the Philippines and looking to work in New Zealand? If so, you should know that the Philippines Special Work Visa Instructions allow up to 100 nurses, 20 farm managers and 20 engineering professionals from the Philippines to work in New Zealand at any given time.
To apply for this visa, you must have a job offer, qualifications and experience that meet certain criteria. The length of your stay will depend on your job offer. If you are granted a visa for less than three years, you can apply for another visa for the balance of the time while in New Zealand. You will need to continue to meet all of the criteria to be granted another visa. You can also study for up to 3 months in any 12-month period.
If you plan on applying for a Philippines Special Work Visa, please note that you cannot include a partner or dependent children in your visa application, but they can apply for visas based on their relationship with you.
